There are many events in life that force you into a position to trust someone that you probably don’t know and have likely never met. Some are obviously more significant than others, but nonetheless, you are taking a leap of faith. In the case of a home loan, it’s a pretty big leap, and you deserve to work with an advisor that is open, honest and has your very best interests at heart. In my 17 years in the profession, I’ve seen a lot of changes in the housing market, have learned the ins and outs of all types of mortgage loans, and want to find the best possible option for you. I was drawn to this profession because buying or refinancing a home is the biggest financial decision most of us will ever make, and I know how important it is to have a knowledgeable person of integrity guiding you through the process.
I was born and raised in Jamestown, Tennessee, graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a business degree, and played professional golf for two years before getting into banking and lending in 2005. My dad was a commercial lender, and I was fortunate enough to be able to work with him for a few years as I was learning the business. My wife Joanie and I now live in Lebanon, Tennessee with our four children, Drew, Zoe, Andrew, and Luke. We love to travel, spend time at the lake, and if there is an opportunity for me to play golf, I’m going to take it!
